Asad Rizvi
Asad Rizvi's musical creativity developed at school and college recording facilities from 13 onwards. He & Ian O'Brien as Memory Tree had their first release in 1995. Reverberations, the label, sound-system and production team consists of Asad & friends Ravi McArthur, Tom Gillieron and Charlie Inman, and is co-run with Nathan Coles. Asad & Ravi have been recording as the Impossible Beings for a number of years. In 1999, Asad and Charlie Inman’s Appleheadz project found a home on Brighton's Loaded Records, later changing their name to Emulsion. Asad's work as Silverlining, focussing on his darker, dubbier and more dancefloor-orientated material, has had releases on labels such as Tag, Eukahouse, and Japan’s Ing Recordings. His single Precision Spanner on Wrong picked up a Vital Release in Muzik Magazine in 1998. Asad has regularly played at such UK nights as Fabric, Wiggle, and The End’s Subterrain, as well as his own Reverberations parties in South London. In 2006, Asad has teamed up with Ben Lost and Ashley Casselle in their collaboration known as The Remote.
